Selection of a Campus Dining Services Meal Plan entitles you to a Meal Card, which allows you purchasing power equivalent to the plan you have selected.
Here is how it works:
Use your meal swipes at Pfeiffer Dining Hall – one swipe and enjoy all you care to eat! Meal swipes may also be used for select menu items at our retail locations in the Kent food court.
Flex money is a convenient way to purchase additional meals or snacks at any of our dining locations on campus.

Meal swipes available in 25 block or 50 block increments.
If you're a full-time residential student, you will be required to have a food plan.
Simpson College offers three food plan options.
Flex dollars can be used for additional purchases at any venue or the C-store.
The 19 Meal per Week Plan allows students to eat up to three meals per weekday, two on Saturday and two on Sunday throughout the entire semester. The plan includes $25 Flex Dollars per semester.
The 12 Meal per Week Plan allows students to eat up to two meals per weekday, one on Saturday and one on Sunday throughout the entire semester. The plan includes $150 Flex Dollars per semester.
The 7 Meal per Week Plan allows students to eat up one meal per weekday, one on Saturday and one on Sunday throughout the entire semester. The plan includes $200 Flex Dollars per semester. This plan is for apartment and theme house residents only.
If a student is on a campus meal plan for both fall and spring semesters, flex money left over at the end of the first semester will roll-over to the second semester. In addition, any flex money left over at the end of the second semester will roll-over to May Term.
Students can change their board plans during the first two weeks of the term.
